Go on a hike and walk the paths of Sevnica
The tradition of hiking and mountaineering is long-standing in Sevnica. It is closely tied to Lisca, one of the peaks in Posavje Hills and certainly one of the best vantage points in Slovenia. In 1902 there was already a cottage on Lisca’s peak, back then one of just five mountain cottages.
Lisca is, next to Veliko Kozje, Lovrenc and Ješivec, one of the peaks in the Sevnica municipality which are bound between Kum and Bohorje by the Zasavska planinska pot (Zasavje hiking trail).
There are several marked and unmarked hiking trails that lead up to Lisca’s peak. The challenging mountain trail or climbing trail to Lisca offers the most difficult access to the peak. The trail runs along its south side from the hamlet of Cirje, with an average difficulty of B / C with the last part being is D / E and one of the most challenging in the region. For those who love wandering in nature there are countless hiking trails available, offering beautiful views and a natural and cultural beauty, joined in thematic paths. Among them hikers prefer to visit the Gozdna učna pot Loka (Forest Teaching Path Loka) in Loka pri Zidanem Mostu, the Naravoslovna pot Azaleja (Natural Azalea path) in Boštanj and the Rudarska pot Tk’Pav (Tk’Pav Mining Path) between Krmelj and Šentjanž.
